7NEWS Perth presents WA Decides 2025 – Saturday 8 March from 5.00pm.
As Western Australia heads to the polls, 7NEWS Perth will deliver the most comprehensive and up-to-the-minute coverage of Saturday’s State Election with an expert panel, cutting-edge results technology, and exclusive insights.
Beginning at 5.00pm, 7NEWS Presenter Tim McMillan will host 7NEWS: Cut Through the Spin.
The program kicks off our election broadcast without the noise of politicians during the final hour of voting – instead, the only WA journalists in the know from the campaign will break down the truth of what to expect on the biggest election issues, driven by key election moments and promises.
Tim McMillan will be joined by 7NEWS State Political Editor Geof Parry and The West Australian’s State Political Editor Jessica Page.
At 6.00pm, Angela Tsun will host 7NEWS Perth live from State Parliament with the day’s top stories, including the latest updates from polling stations and reaction from voters across the state.
From 7.00pm as the votes are counted, 7NEWS National News Desk Editor, Hugh Whitfeld will unveil the 7NEWS Power Board, providing real-time results as they come in.
7NEWS will be first with the numbers, offering fast and accurate updates live throughout the night with the most accurate seat predictors fuelled by the expertise of Luke Mansillo – the guru with a PHD in political behaviour and elections in Australia.
