Recap | Big Brother 2026: Harmon is the first housemate evicted after the coffee heist – Harmon has become the first housemate evicted from Big Brother 2026. Australia’s votes saved Ebony and Kyrah in Sunday night’s eviction, sending the self-described professional pot-stirrer back to the real world.

It came only days after the series launched. As TV Central reported in its Big Brother 2026 launch recap, Harmon, a 29-year-old IT salesman from Queensland, arrived promising to cause some chaos. He delivered, but his stay was short.

Why Harmon faced the Big Brother eviction

Harmon’s time in the house was brief, but it was not without its fair share of chaos. He received 22 nomination points, double what both Ebony and Kyrah received.

It was clear early that he was going to ruffle feathers. In particular, he did not help his cause when he decided to hide the house’s supply of precious coffee.

Then, rather than pleading his case to Head of House Matty, Harmon called out his housemates for being cowardly in not coming to him directly with their issues.

Harmon admits to stealing the coffee – and the salt

Leaving the house, Harmon described his experience as “turbulent”. He finally admitted to host Mel Tracina that he did indeed steal the coffee. “And the salt,” he proudly added.

Explaining himself, Harmon said:

They’re just a bit too comfy in there… it’s not school camp! We’re in there to have a good time, it’s meant to be tough, and it just wasn’t tough!

Halloween Trick or Treat adds $25,000

Meanwhile, Big Brother had a special Halloween surprise for the house, offering a classic choice between a Trick or a Treat. Network 10 suggested the twist may have been inspired by Harmon’s plea for more toughness.

Nominated by his fellow housemates, Matthew selected the Treat. As a result, $25,000 was added to the cash prize, taking the total to $125,000.

That leaves 13 housemates remaining in the house.
