Tonight | Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7: Melissa tours a topiary wonderland – Better Homes and Gardens Channel 7 returns Friday 17 July with a packed episode that moves from a Melbourne topiary wonderland to Penrith water sports, comforting Cantonese cooking and clever winter DIY.
What To Expect
Melissa King visits a regular Melbourne street with a garden that is anything but ordinary. Self-taught topiarist Ick Chu has transformed his front yard into a whimsical horticultural wonderland, clipping and shaping plants into animals and sculptural forms that have become a talking point for the neighbourhood.
Adam Dovile heads west to Penrith, less than an hour from Sydney’s CBD, to explore a destination built for adventure and downtime. His itinerary takes in wakeboarding, riverside unwinding and even a little skydiving as he checks out why the area has become a water sports capital.
In the kitchen, Clarissa Feildel shares her secrets for steamed chicken with ginger and shallot dressing. The Cantonese classic can be tough if handled badly, so Clarissa focuses on tender, juicy chicken and a simple four-ingredient sauce made to lift the whole dish.
Dr Harry visits the Australian National Dog Agility Championships, where more than 800 dogs and their handlers compete across obstacle courses at serious speed. Charlie Albone tackles spider mite damage on azaleas, while Juliet Love turns weather seal tape into textured wall art for winter.
When To Watch
The episode gives Better Homes and Gardens Channel 7 viewers the usual mix of garden inspiration, practical renovation advice, food, pets and weekend project ideas, with each segment aimed at something viewers can try, visit or enjoy at home.
