Recap | The Voice grand finalists revealed on Channel 7 and 7plus – Daisha Auda, Yung Milla, Tommy Novak and The 60Four are through to The Voice Australia 2026 Grand Finale. Each coach chose one artist after Sunday’s semi-final on Channel 7 and 7plus, leaving viewers to decide the winner next week.
The result sets up a varied final: a 15-year-old singer, a performer blending rap and Indigenous sounds, a soloist who found his confidence, and the competition’s last band. Their semi-final songs are available below as four inline clips, so viewers can revisit the performances before voting.
The Grand Finale airs at 7pm on Sunday 27 September on Channel 7 and 7plus. Voting lines are open. The winner receives $100,000, an all-inclusive Hive Sound Studios recording and development package, and The Voice Australia title.
Yung Milla turns Down Under into a personal tribute
Yung Milla, from the Northern Territory and coached by Melanie C, took Men At Work’s Down Under in a different direction. He brought didgeridoo, a choir and an original rap into the song. His new verses drew on his upbringing and paid tribute to his mother, who appeared at the end of the performance.
The moment moved the studio. Melanie C praised the courage behind the arrangement, while Kate Miller-Heidke said it gave the song darkness as well as hope. Richard Marx praised Yung Milla’s originality. Melanie C then selected him as her Grand Finalist.
Tommy Novak finds his place in the Grand Finale
Richard Marx chose New South Wales singer Tommy Novak after his performance of Robbie Williams’ Angels. Earlier, Richard had challenged Tommy to trust his instincts instead of second-guessing himself. The coach saw growth in his semi-final performance and gave him the place in the final.
Melanie C called the rendition impressive, and Ronan Keating told Tommy he should already feel like a winner. Tommy advances alongside three acts with very different musical styles.
Daisha Auda rises to the challenge
Queensland’s Daisha Auda sang Andra Day’s Rise Up to secure Team Kate’s place in the Grand Finale. At 15, Daisha is the youngest of the four finalists. Seven says she has never had a singing lesson, yet her performance showed the control and stage presence that have carried her through the contest.
Melanie C praised Daisha’s maturity. Kate highlighted her versatility and willingness to take on a challenge. Kate’s decision sent Daisha through and ended Charlotte June’s run in the competition.
The 60Four bring harmony and choreography
South Australia’s The 60Four remain the only band in the contest. Their performance of Earth, Wind & Fire’s September combined close harmonies, high energy and choreography, giving Ronan Keating a different kind of finalist to the three solo artists.
Ronan praised both their singing and character. Richard Marx said their performances had been consistently precise. Ronan chose the group for the Grand Finale, while Leyla Sabo’s journey ended in the semi-final.
Who left The Voice in the semi-final?
Four artists were farewelled as the coaches reduced their teams to one act each: Charlotte June, Leyla Sabo, Taylor Beadle-Williams and Tika Cetinich. Daisha, The 60Four, Tommy and Yung Milla now go into the final vote.
