Charlotte June Takes The Voice Stage
Charlotte June is a 22-year-old contestant from South Australia. She has dreamed of performing since she was eight years old.
Her mother has been central to that dream. After her mum was diagnosed with early-onset dementia two years ago, Charlotte put her own ambitions on hold to become her carer.
Determined to live without regrets, Charlotte steps onto The Voice stage to pursue the passion she and her mother have always shared: music.
Charlotte performs Kate Bush’s This Woman’s Work during the Blind Auditions. Seven says the performance leaves coach Kate Miller-Heidke in tears.
Charlotte’s mother watches from the side of the stage with family as the audition unfolds.
