My Kitchen Rules: meet ‘classy bogans’ Alisha and Deanne on Channel 7 – South Australian best friends Alisha and Deanne are ready to bring big laughs, bold personalities and home-style cooking to the new season of My Kitchen Rules on Channel 7 and 7plus.
The self-described ‘classy bogans’ promise a lively Instant Restaurant as they serve simple dishes packed with flavour. Their menu favourites include Alisha’s nan’s sticky date pudding and Deanne’s crowd-pleasing birria tacos.
Their casting adds another distinct partnership to the 2026 line-up. While other announced teams bring food styling, farm cooking and even a funeral-business background, Alisha and Deanne are being positioned as the season’s loud, quick-witted best friends who cook from the heart.
Meet Alisha and Deanne
Alisha said the pair are “two peas in a pod” and share the same chaotic, funny and unfiltered approach to life. She expects that energy to follow them into the kitchen and around the My Kitchen Rules table.
Deanne said they have “massive personalities” and are so closely matched that they are “basically one brain”. The friends met at school as teenagers and have been inseparable ever since.
They spend much of their free time together and admit they are constantly talking, rarely leaving anyone else the chance to get a word in. They also warn that they will give as good as they get if another team challenges them at the table.
