MOVIE | Disney’s Snow White at the grounds of Alexandria Laneway Takeover – In celebration of Disney’s “Snow White”, opening exclusively in Australian cinemas March 20, the laneways of The Grounds of Alexandria have been transformed into an enchanting spectacle.
With lush greens, dazzling lights, and woodland creatures this unique experience will guide guests deeper into the magical world of Disney’s “Snow White”. Celebrated for its immersive experiences, attracting both locals and tourists to its uniquely themed spaces The Grounds of Alexandria is recognised as one of the world’s most Instagrammable destinations, bringing stories to life with ever-evolving installations and events.
The laneway takeover is NOW OPEN to the public and runs until May 25, 2025.
Special guests were welcomed with a surprise performance by singer Ashleigh Rubenach, treating attendees to a debut live performance of “Waiting on a Wish”, the first single from the film’s original soundtrack, written by EGOT® winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, with additional lyrics by Jack Feldman. Special guests who celebrated included Ashleigh Rubenach, Catherine Laga’aia, Chaska Halliday, Jarrod Draper, Jason ‘Jabba’ Davis, Justin Hill, Maddy Macrae, Sally Bowrey, Tara Whiteman, Tsehay Hawkins, among others.
“Disney’s Snow White,” the live-action musical reimagining of the studio’s classic 1937 film, is a magical music adventure which journeys back to the timeless story with Rachel Zegler in the title role and Gal Gadot as her Stepmother, the Evil Queen.
The film opens exclusively in Australian and New Zealand cinemas March 20, 2025. “Disney’s Snow White” is directed by Marc Webb, written by Erin Cressida Wilson, and produced by Marc Platt, p.g.a., and Jared LeBoff, p.g.a., with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer.
Waiting on a Wish is available now digitally on Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify. The original soundtrack of songs from “Disney’s Snow White” will be released March 14. Waiting on a Wish was written by EGOT® winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, with additional lyrics by Jack Feldman. The song was produced by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Ian Eisendrath and Dave Metzger, and is performed by Rachel Zegler.
