A different kind of dating show is upon us – Nine’s My Mum Your Dad. John Walsh – Network Executive Producer joins TV Central for a One on One podcast to discuss this Australian first format. He has also been the Executive Producer of Getaway for the past 23 seasons. John was appointed Network EP of MAFS when the series was super-sized in 2016, a role he has continued for seven seasons. He wrote and produced a three-series adaptation of National Geographic’s Amazing 80s, 90s and Noughties for Channel 9 which featured interviews with some of the most prominent Australians of the past 40 years from prime ministers to Paul Hogan and Lindy Chamberlain. Prior to joining Nine, John was an Executive Producer in News & Current Affairs at SBS where he was a Walkley Award Finalist for his work on the ground breaking series Face The Press. He started his career in the media as a journalist with News Ltd.
