The Rings of Power season three teaser trailer debuts at San Diego Comic-Con – Prime Video has unveiled the teaser trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season three, which premieres on 11 November.
The reveal came during the series’ San Diego Comic-Con Hall H panel, where showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay appeared with cast members including Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Owain Arthur, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Charlie Vickers, Daniel Weyman and Jamie Campbell Bower.
For Prime Video viewers, season three is a major November release and continues one of the platform’s biggest global franchises. The new trailer points to a darker chapter as Sauron’s quest to forge the One Ring accelerates.

New season three reveals
Prime Video confirmed several new character details during the panel. Eddie Marsan will play Thrain, Andrew Richardson will play Anarion, and Adam Young will play Marnukh.
They join previously announced additions Jamie Campbell Bower as Celeborn and Zubin Varla as Khamul the Easterling.
The panel also revealed Simon Pegg as the voice of the Balrog. A special in-room featurette showed creatures from the new season, including Fell-beasts, Mumakil, Orcs and the returning Balrog.
When episodes arrive
The first four episodes of season three premiere on 11 November 2026. Episodes five and six arrive on 18 November, with the final two episodes released on 25 November.
Season three finds Middle-earth at war, five years after the fall of Eregion. Sauron’s armies have marched across the world, while the remaining free peoples try to prevent him from achieving domination.
