The Saturday schedule puts Australian viewers into another major night of swimming, boxing and netball, before overnight medal chances in artistic gymnastics and the pool. All times below are AEST.
For Seven, the second full night of competition keeps the Games in prime time with some of Australia’s most recognisable Commonwealth Games names, including Mollie O’Callaghan, Lani Pallister, Cameron McEvoy and the Australian Diamonds.
Tonight on Seven and 7plus Sport
- 7.30pm | Swimming: Mollie O’Callaghan and Lani Pallister compete in the women’s 200m freestyle. Cameron McEvoy also begins his Games campaign in the men’s 50m freestyle.
- 8.00pm | Boxing: Paul Trainor opens the Australian boxing schedule in the men’s light heavyweight round of 32.
- 8.00pm | Netball: The Australian Diamonds face Tonga in their opening group match. Australia begins its title defence after winning gold at Birmingham 2022.
- From 8.40pm | Swimming: Sienna Toohey headlines the Australian hopes in the women’s 100m breaststroke. Sam Short then races in the men’s 400m freestyle from 8.50pm.

- 3.20am | Artistic Gymnastics Women’s Team Final: Australia’s women’s team competes across vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise as it chases a medal.
- 4.00am | Swimming Finals: Sam Short chases gold in the men’s 400m freestyle final. Cameron McEvoy is listed for the men’s 50m freestyle semi-finals.
- 4.40am | Women’s 200m Freestyle Final: Mollie O’Callaghan and Lani Pallister are set for a major Australian showdown in the pool.
- 6.10am | Mixed 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay Final: Australia goes for relay glory to close the morning swimming session.
