Yellowjackets final season trailer brings a savage homecoming to Paramount+ – The survivors are back in Wiskayok. However, leaving the wilderness behind does not mean its hold over them has ended. Paramount+ has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Yellowjackets. It teases a volatile homecoming for the team.

The final season will premiere exclusively on Paramount+ in Australia on Friday 20 November 2026. All three previous seasons remain available to stream on the service.

The return to Wiskayok sets up a direct collision between the show’s two timelines. The teenagers’ fight for survival will meet the consequences still shaping the adults 25 years later. As a result, the trailer suggests this homecoming will push the long-running mysteries, rivalries and trauma towards a conclusion.

The survivors return to Wiskayok

Yellowjackets began with a high school girls’ soccer team surviving a plane crash in the northern wilderness. Their story of endurance gradually revealed how the group fractured into savage clans. Meanwhile, the present-day storyline followed the surviving women as they tried to keep the past buried.

Season four takes the story out of the wilderness and back to the team’s home town. The characters have returned to familiar streets, families and institutions. However, the trailer makes clear that the choices they made in isolation have travelled home with them.

The series continues to blend survival drama, psychological horror and coming-of-age storytelling. The final run must reveal what happened to the teenagers after their rescue. It must also connect those events to the adults’ increasingly dangerous present.

Who returns for the final season?

Melanie Lynskey, Christina Ricci and Tawny Cypress continue to lead the adult timeline. Sophie Nélisse, Samantha Hanratty and Jasmin Savoy Brown play the younger versions of their characters.

In addition, Sophie Thatcher, Courtney Eaton, Liv Hewson, Warren Kole and Kevin Alves return. Sarah Desjardins, Nia Sondaya, Jenna Burgess and Hilary Swank complete the returning ensemble.

The expanded guest cast includes June Squibb, Elijah Wood, Molly Ringwald, Devon Sawa, Sam Braun and Dulé Hill, among others. Their involvement adds several new variables as the series moves into its last chapter.

The creative team behind Yellowjackets

Yellowjackets was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson. The pair also serve as executive producers and showrunners for the fourth season.

Drew Comins, Jonathan Lisco, Jeff W. Byrd, Sarah L. Thompson, Ameni Rozsa and Julia Bicknell are also executive producers. The series is produced for SHOWTIME by Lionsgate Television.

The show’s first three seasons built their mystery across two periods. The crash was never treated as a closed backstory. Instead, revelations in one timeline repeatedly reshaped the meaning of events in the other. Finally, Wiskayok gives the last episodes a common setting in which those threads can converge.
