Dexter: Resurrection season 2 trailer reveals Paramount+ return date – Michael C. Hall returns as Dexter Morgan on Friday, 30 October, when the second season of Dexter: Resurrection premieres on Paramount+ in Australia. The streaming service has released the official trailer and key art.
The new footage gives Australian viewers a first look at the next chapter after season one, which remains available on Paramount+. The premise puts Dexter between two killers while his son Harrison continues a separate pursuit of justice.
One threat has decades of notoriety and a long history of killing. The other is a younger figure terrorising New York in unfamiliar ways. At the same time, Dexter faces a more personal problem: a mid-life crisis. Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, is drawn into what the release describes as the father and son’s darkest chapter yet.

Returning cast and new additions
Alongside Hall and Alcott, returning cast members include Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington and James Remar. Krysten Ritter will also return in a guest-starring role.
New series regulars are Dan Stevens, Bokeem Woodbine, Nona Parker Johnson and Brian Cox. Gabriel Luna joins the season as a guest star. The announcement does not identify which actors play the two killers described in the synopsis, leaving that detail for the series itself.
Emmy-nominated Clyde Phillips returns as showrunner and executive producer. The series comes from Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios. Other executive producers include Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns, with John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson also credited.
