Netflix Unveils First Trailer for Enola Holmes 3, Premiering July 1 – Netflix has officially debuted the first trailer for Enola Holmes 3, confirming that the latest chapter in the hit mystery franchise will premiere July 1, exclusively on Netflix.
Millie Bobby Brown returns as the resourceful young detective Enola Holmes, alongside a familiar ensemble cast including Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes, Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury, Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria Holmes, Himesh Patel as Dr John Watson and Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Moriarty.
The third instalment sees Enola heading to the island nation of Malta, where she takes on what Netflix describes as “a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”
According to the official logline, “Adventure chases detective Enola Holmes to Malta, where personal and professional dreams collide on a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”
As Enola navigates the demands of her latest investigation, she must also confront the next stage of her relationship with Tewkesbury, ensuring that the stakes are higher than ever both personally and professionally.
Emmy Award-winning director Philip Barantini, best known for Adolescence, takes the helm for the first time in the franchise. The screenplay has been penned by Jack Thorne, who also wrote the previous two Enola Holmes films.
Based on Nancy Springer’s The Enola Holmes Mysteries book series, the new film continues the adventures of Sherlock Holmes’ equally brilliant younger sister, whose knack for solving mysteries has made her a fan favourite since the first film debuted in 2020.
Enola Holmes 3 is produced by Legendary Entertainment and PCMA Productions, with producers including Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Ali Mendes, Millie Bobby Brown, Robert Brown, Michael Dreyer and Jack Thorne.
The game is once again afoot when Enola Holmes 3 premieres July 1 on Netflix.
