War trailer: HBO Max legal drama arrives 2 October – HBO has released the official trailer for War, its new legal drama with Sky. Dominic West and Sienna Miller lead the series.

First, HBO Max will launch the eight-episode first season on Friday, 2 October. It will add a new episode each Friday. Meanwhile, HBO and Sky have already ordered a second season.

In addition, George Kay created War. The story enters the high-pressure world of London law firms. Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne face off in a headline-grabbing battle. The case pulls ambitious young lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren, played by Archie Renaux, into the conflict.

A high-stakes divorce case

However, the first season follows the divorce of British technology entrepreneur Morgan Henderson and international film star Carla Duval. Meanwhile, West plays Henderson. Miller plays Duval. The two firms fight for their clients as the case tests power, money and loyalty.

Phoebe Fox, James McArdle, Nina Sosanya, Pip Torrens, Celia Imrie and Nick Mohammed also star. Australian actor Kartanya Maynard joins the cast. As a result, the drama brings an extensive ensemble to its courtroom and boardroom stories.

Finally, the second season will shift to a defamation case. Marisa Tomei, Kelly Macdonald and David Harewood will lead that story. The early renewal lets War build beyond its opening dispute.
