Below Deck Season 13 trailer sets sail for Phuket on Hayu – Captain Kerry Titheradge is taking the helm of a new motor yacht as Below Deck returns to Thailand for Season 13. The new season begins streaming on Hayu in Australia on Tuesday, 13 October, the same day as the United States. The season brings the franchise back to Phuket for the first time since 2019. It also pairs familiar department heads with a largely new crew, giving Captain Kerry an immediate test aboard the motor yacht Azul V.
Captain Kerry leads a new Below Deck crew in Phuket
Captain Kerry Titheradge returns alongside Chief Stew Fraser Olender and Second Stew Rainbeau de Roos. Together, they will work among Phuket’s dramatic limestone cliffs, islands and beaches while trying to deliver the high-end service expected by charter guests. The new crew includes chef Moe Vilomar and bosun Alex Wright. James Bishop, Matthew Fitzpatrick-Buck and Jessenia Stidger join the deck team, while Kaylee Brown and Rosa Simms-Preston work in the interior.
Fraser and Rainbeau quickly find themselves managing tension inside the yacht. They must contend with clashing personalities, inexperienced crew members and the practical challenge of adapting to a new boat. Even so, Fraser continues to build elaborate theme nights and memorable beach excursions for the guests.
Galley pressure, deck rivalries and a dangerous docking
Chef Moe arrives with experience spanning military service, fine dining and private charters. However, demanding guests and the relentless pace of service threaten to increase the pressure in the galley. Meanwhile, power struggles and oversized egos create friction on deck. The conflict eventually forces Captain Kerry to make what Hayu describes as a shocking decision. A rollercoaster romance also sends its highs and lows across several departments. Along with personnel changes, the crew faces a dangerous nighttime docking that becomes one of the captain’s toughest challenges of the charter season. The Phuket location gives Season 13 a strong visual identity. More importantly, the combination of a new yacht, returning leaders and an inexperienced team sets up the kind of operational pressure that has long driven the Below Deck franchise.
