DAZN Upfronts 2027: Foxtel Media becomes DAZN Media+ – Foxtel Media has unveiled its next chapter, confirming the Australian advertising business will transition to DAZN Media+ following DAZN’s acquisition of Foxtel Group.
The rebrand was revealed at the company’s 2027 Upfronts event at The Cutaway in Barangaroo, positioning DAZN Media+ as the advertising home for Kayo Sports, BINGE, Foxtel and Foxtel Go.
For Australian advertisers, the move matters because it ties Foxtel Media’s established local sales operation to DAZN’s global sports streaming scale. It also places sport, entertainment, streaming, linear TV, creator-led activity and data-led advertising under a broader commercial banner.
DAZN says it operates in more than 200 markets, reaches 300 million viewers globally and delivers more than 90,000 live events each year. In Australia, the group says it contributes more than $1 billion a year in sports rights and production.
DAZN Media+ will represent advertising opportunities across premium sport and entertainment, including AFL, NRL, cricket, Formula 1, Supercars, NBA and NFL coverage, as well as BINGE’s entertainment slate.
A broader ad business
The company says the new brand is designed to give agencies and advertisers access to more audience data, improved planning tools and a wider set of advertising environments.
The new DAZN Media+ brand architecture was developed by DAZN’s in-house Australian creative team, BALBOA.
