Disney+ October 2026 highlights – Marvel’s VisionQuest, the second season of Scrubs, a new chapter of The Kardashians, KATSEYE’s WILD HEARTS and a live music festival headline a wide-ranging month on Disney+.

The October slate stretches across Marvel drama, comedy, reality television, music, movies, anime, children’s programming and live sport. It also brings a substantial ESPN schedule to Disney+, led by the beginning of the NBA season and the MLB World Series.

For Australian subscribers, the breadth is the key feature of the month. Several major originals arrive alongside catalogue films and weekly episodes, while ESPN adds appointment viewing throughout October.

VisionQuest premieres on Disney+

VisionQuest premieres on Wednesday, 14 October. A rebooted Vision has been hiding from people who want to weaponise him. While laying low, he consults the AI personas embedded in his programming, including Ultron, as he searches for meaning.

That quiet period ends when a bounty is placed on Vision’s head. He is forced to run alongside Thomas Shepard, a mysterious boy who may be the reincarnation of Vision’s son.

Scrubs season two returns to Sacred Heart

Scrubs season two launches with two episodes on Thursday, 1 October. J.D., Turk and Elliot have moved beyond their intern years and become respected doctors at Sacred Heart.

The trio now inspires a new generation of medical staff. At the same time, they continue balancing the personal and professional pressures of hospital life, with familiar characters joined by new faces.

The Kardashians begin a new chapter

The Kardashians season eight premieres on Thursday, 8 October. Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie return for a season centred on love, reinvention and what comes next.

While the family continues building its businesses, the new episodes turn to unexpected connections, new relationships, old wounds and independence. The season also examines different forms of love, from family and romance to self-love.

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS

KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS premieres on Friday, 16 October. The film follows the group into a new era and celebrates the fans who helped create its global movement.

It combines never-before-seen footage, EYEKONS fan videos and personal interviews with the group members. Together, those elements explore the connection between KATSEYE and its fandom, while looking ahead to the group’s next chapter.
