Deadliest Dinners Australia trailer released by BINGE – BINGE has released the first look trailer for Deadliest Dinners Australia, a new Australian documentary series led by Mario Kalpou.
The eight-part series gives BINGE another local original with a clear Australian hook. It mixes food, travel and survival across some of the country’s toughest locations.
Deadliest Dinners Australia premieres on BINGE on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. New episodes will drop weekly. Foxtel customers can also watch on FOX8 at 7.30pm that night.
Mario Kalpou Returns Home
The series follows Kalpou as he searches for extraordinary ingredients in wild Australian landscapes.
Kalpou returns home after the international success of Man Eats Wild and United Plates. His approach is simple. Food should be earned, understood and respected.
In the new series, Kalpou tests his survival skills across shark-filled waters, crocodile country, remote cliff faces, tropical islands and the Northern Territory outback.
Along the way, he works with guides, wilderness experts and Traditional Owners. Their knowledge helps him move through dangerous and unpredictable country.
“For me, food has always been about far more than what’s on the plate,” Kalpou said.
Kalpou said the series is his most ambitious adventure yet. He hopes viewers leave each episode with a new appreciation for wild places and the people behind every meal.
Food Earned In The Wild
The expeditions include diving in great white shark territory, tracking buffalo and crossing crocodile-infested rivers.
Kalpou also abseils down a sea cliff as he gathers ingredients and cooks in the wild.
BINGE says each episode celebrates adventure, survival and the connection between people, place and food.
Deadliest Dinners Australia is an 8 x 60-minute series. It is a co-production between DAZN’s Foxtel Group in Australia and Mew Productions.
The executive producers are Mario Kalpou for Mew Productions, with Howard Myers-Rifai and Chris Hearn for Foxtel Group.
