APPLE TV DEBUTS TRAILER FOR AUSTRALIAN THRILLER LAST SEEN – Apple TV has released the trailer for Last Seen, a gripping new thriller starring Patrick Brammall and premiering globally on Wednesday, 9 September 2026.
For Australian audiences, Last Seen lands as a notable local production. The series is entirely set and filmed in Victoria, giving the Apple TV thriller a strong Australian identity while taking the story to a global streaming audience.
The series will launch with its first two episodes, followed by one new episode each Wednesday until 7 October 2026.

About Last Seen
Last Seen follows police detective Ian Ridley, whose life was shattered when his daughter Maggie disappeared 11 years earlier.
Now working as a police dispatcher, Ian receives a distress call from a teenage girl. He becomes convinced the caller is Maggie, sending him back into the mystery that destroyed his family.
As Ian pushes for answers, the series explores grief, obsession and the possibility that the truth may still be within reach.
Cast And Creative Team
The cast includes Patrick Brammall, Maxine Peake, Brendan Cowell, Daniel Henshall, Zahra Newman, Jessica Wren, Tobias Muhafidin and Chloe Jean Lourdes.
The series is adapted from Ryan David Jahn’s book The Dispatcher, which won the CWA John Creasey Dagger Award.
Last Seen is adapted by writer and executive producer Kris Mrksa, with Christian Schwochow directing and executive producing. It is produced by 60Forty Films.
Executive producers include Jamie Laurenson and Hakan Kousetta for 60Forty Films, alongside Schwochow, Mrksa and Joanna Werner for Werner Film Productions.
