12 12 12 trailer: Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan lead Apple TV heist drama – Apple TV has released the trailer for 12 12 12, an eight-part heist drama starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan. The series premieres in Australia on Friday, 13 November 2026, with two episodes, then continues weekly until 25 December.
The title is also the show’s storytelling device. Its Zurich bank-vault raid is told across 12 months of planning, 12 hours of execution and 12 days of aftermath. That three-part structure gives viewers more than a straight countdown to the robbery: the consequences are part of the story from the outset.
For Australian viewers, the first two episodes arrive together on Apple TV. The weekly rollout then runs through Christmas Day, rather than dropping all eight episodes at once.
What happens in 12 12 12?
Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent opposite Dornan’s American career criminal. The two become locked in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse across Europe, with a raid on a vault beneath the streets of Zurich at its centre. The trailer introduces that contest and the pressure surrounding the operation without reducing the series to the heist itself.
The supporting cast includes Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis. The episode structure promises to move between preparation, the operation and its immediate fallout, so the changing relationship between the agent and the criminal is likely to matter as much as the mechanics of the break-in.
Cast and production
Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble created the series and serve as executive producers. Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and is also an executive producer. Mackie and Dornan both executive produce as well as star.
Mackie executive produces through his Make It With Gravy banner, alongside Samantha Corbin-Miller, David Knoller and Jason Spire for Inspire Entertainment. Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content produce the drama.
