ABC iview November 2026 highlights – ABC iview has set a broad Australian line-up for November. The month moves from polar science and classical music to comedy, crime, returning drama and a major Robodebt series.
The 13-title schedule gives viewers a steady run of new arrivals from 3 November. Returning seasons of Saint-Pierre, I Was Actually There, Austin and Return to Paradise sit beside several new factual projects. As a result, the service has something new across almost every week of the month.
Two programmes carry particular public-interest weight. Shakedown dramatises the Robodebt scandal, while The Great Food Con investigates the products filling Australian supermarket shelves. Meanwhile, Choir of Hard Knocks: A New Chorus closes the month by marking an Australian television and music milestone.

Ages of Ice
Streaming Tuesday 3 November.
From Antarctica to the Arctic, Ages of Ice follows researchers into some of the planet’s most demanding frozen environments. Their work examines how glaciers move, why oceans rise and what the past can tell us about the faster pace of change today.
The series moves between intimate wildlife encounters and discoveries with global consequences. Above all, it focuses on the people travelling to the ends of the Earth to understand what may come next.
ABC Young Performers
Streaming Thursday 5 November.
Three exceptional young performers join the Sydney Symphony Orchestra for the grand final of the 2026 ABC Young Performers Awards. Conductor in Residence Benjamin Northey leads the live performance on the Sydney Opera House stage.
The awards remain a major national platform for emerging Australian classical musicians. Therefore, the final offers both a competition and a showcase for the next generation of performers.
Celebrity Escape
Streaming Thursday 5 November.
Seven comedians face high-concept escape rooms under the watch of a mischievous Game Master. First, they must solve the room. Then, they need to survive elimination.
Panic Buttons, Gifts and Wrath complicate the challenge. Only one comedian will emerge as the winner, with the format leaning into pressure, rivalry and comic chaos.
Saint-Pierre Season 2
Streaming Friday 6 November.
A Newfoundland police inspector and a Parisian cop continue their unlikely partnership on the French territory of Saint-Pierre et Miquelon. Donald Fitzpatrick, known as Fitz, was exiled after digging too deeply into the Premier’s activities.
His arrival disrupted the life of Deputy Chief Geneviève Archambault. However, she also has a reason for being on the island: bringing down international crime boss Sean Gallagher.
triple j’s Live at the Wireless
Streaming Saturday 7 November.
triple j’s long-running live music series returns with performances from some of Australia’s best-known acts. Ball Park Music opens the season in full flight at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.
The November collection will also feature sets from Courtney Barnett, Genesis Owusu and DMA’S. Together, the performances bring a mix of indie rock, songwriting and genre-crossing Australian music to ABC iview.
I Was Actually There Season 3
Streaming Monday 9 November.
I Was Actually There returns with six stories told by Australians who unexpectedly found themselves at the centre of history. The accounts capture the fear, adrenaline, chaos and humanity of being inside a major event as it unfolds.
The series places personal testimony ahead of retrospective narration. Consequently, viewers are invited to reconsider moments they may think they already understand.
Separated at Birth
Streaming Wednesday 11 November.
Ambulance paramedics Sameer and Donna know how to handle a crisis. Their job requires them to arrive on a person’s worst day, assess the situation and keep the patient safe until further help takes over.
The pair are less successful at containing their own feelings and adult problems. The comedy places those personal complications inside a fast-moving, high-pressure workplace.

Austin Season 3
Streaming Wednesday 11 November.
The Hartswood family enters another season of chaotic love, blurred boundaries and wedding trouble. Julian and Ingrid begin with an upbeat divorce party, while Austin impulsively proposes to Hayley.
The plans take the family from budget venues in London to Hayley’s traditional Australian family homestead. Yet old bonds, hidden truths and a called-off wedding soon reshape the celebration. A tragic family loss then forces everyone to rebuild and reconsider what love requires.

Return to Paradise Season 3
Streaming Saturday 14 November.
Detective Sergeant Mackenzie Clarke returns to Dolphin Cove. Naturally, another collection of apparently impossible murders is waiting for her.
The cases include an artist stabbed on stage, a wildlife worker killed inside a locked cage and a celebrated film director shot at her own screening. Nevertheless, Mackenzie’s most difficult mystery may be her own heart.
Mark of a Murderer
Streaming Monday 16 November.
This Australian true-crime series examines the cases of two men convicted of murder. Former journalist and now MP Colleen Egan investigates police failures and alleged miscarriages of justice.
Her work also points towards a suspected serial killer. The series follows the evidence, the institutional questions and the long effort to establish what happened.

Shakedown
Streaming Sunday 22 November.
Shakedown is a four-part drama based on the Robodebt scandal. The illegal government scheme sent automated Centrelink debt notices to hundreds of thousands of Australians for money they did not owe.
The drama explores the people who protected the scheme, those who challenged it and those who paid the greatest price. It brings one of Australia’s most consequential recent political and administrative failures into a dramatic format.
The Great Food Con
Streaming Tuesday 24 November.
Craig Reucassel presents this three-part investigation into Australia’s food system. Each one-hour episode examines products that fill supermarket shelves and asks how they may affect public health.
The series also looks at the commercial design behind repeat purchases. In doing so, it connects everyday shopping decisions with the wider national health crisis.
Choir of Hard Knocks: A New Chorus
Streaming Sunday 29 November.
Twenty years ago, an experiment began in Melbourne with a belief that music could change lives. The Choir of Hard Knocks brought together people experiencing homelessness, disadvantage, trauma and hardship.
