The one-night special, titled The Chase Australia: Larry & Friends, sees the team compete to raise money for Beyond Blue, Australia’s leading mental health charity.
The hook tonight is the celebrity charity format. Instead of the usual contestant line-up, Larry’s familiar Seven colleagues step into the game, giving the quiz show a lighter special-event feel while still keeping the pressure of the Chaser at the centre.
Larry’s Friends Take On The Shark
Larry’s celebrity line-up brings together familiar Seven faces. Dr Chris Brown is one of Australia’s best-known television vets, Johanna Griggs is a long-time Better Homes and Gardens host, David Woiwod is Weekend Sunrise co-host, and Sonia Kruger hosts The Voice Australia.
Standing between the team and the money is Chaser Brydon Coverdale, better known as The Shark. The episode promises the usual Chase pressure, but with a friendlier prime-time twist built around Larry and his guests.
