A jam-packed schedule of tennis continues with the United Cup serving today and the Adelaide International beginning on 1 January. Matches will be streaming ad-free, live & on demand on Stan Sport.
The 2023 tennis season kicks off with the United Cup (29 December – 8 January), which sees the best of the WTA Tour and ATP Tour representing their countries. The 18-team, mixed tournament will be headlined by 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal (Spain, World No. 2), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece, World No. 4), Alex de Minaur (Australia, World No. 24) and Ajla Tomlijanovic (Australia, World No. 33).
World class tennis will continue to roll on when South Australia host a festival of tennis with back-to-back Adelaide Internationals. Week 1 will mark the return of 21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic to Australia.
UNITED CUP

The inaugural edition of the United Cup will see the biggest names in tennis hit the court in Perth, Brisbane and Sydney, as players hope to find their rhythm ahead of the Australian Open. Each tie will feature two men’s and two women’s singles matches as well as one mixed doubles match.
Team Australia, led by Alex de Minaur and Ajla Tomljanovic, will start their campaign against Team Great Britain tonight from 6:50pm AEDT. Alex de Minaur will face a formidable first test in the form of British No. 1, Cameron Norrie.

World class tennis is returning to South Australia with Week 1 of the Adelaide International kicking off on 1 January. Defending champion Thanasi Kokkinakis has been awarded a wildcard for Week 1 of the tournament and will have his eyes set on retaining the title. However, nine-time Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic is back on Australian soil and is set to compete.
Kokkinakis and Djokovic will be joined by several other elite tennis stars including Felix Auger-Aliassime (World No. 6), Daniil Medvedev (World No. 7), Andrey Rublev (World No. 8), Jannik Sinner (World No. 15), and two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray. In the women’s draw, four of the world’s top ten will feature with Ons Jabeur (World No. 2), Aryna Sabalenka (World No. 5), Daria Kasatkina (World No. 8) and Veronika Kudermetova (World No. 9) all competing.
