MATCHDAY 8
THURSDAY, JANUARY 30
LIVE & EXCLUSIVE ON STAN SPORT FROM 6:35AM AEDT
HOSTED LIVE IN STUDIO WITH ADAM PEACOCK, MARK BOSNICH & CRAIG FOSTER
The biggest day in UEFA Champions League history takes place this morning, as all 18 games will be played simultaneously, an unprecedented move to reveal which teams will qualify for the finals, which will qualify for the knockout phase, and which will be eliminated from the season.
Thanks to UEFA’s Football Zone, the Stan Sport experts will dynamically bring viewers all the action from all the key matchups on the fly to capture every crucial moment.
Liverpool will look to stay perfect against tough Dutch side PSV, but all eyes will be on Man City who are in a do-or-die situation. If they are able to beat the formidable Club Brugge they will qualify for the knockouts, but should they draw or lose, they will be sensationally bundled out of the competition.
Such a moment would send shockwaves around the football world, as supercoach Pep Guardiola and his world-beating side were considered the best in the world just a year ago, having won the rare European treble (UEFA Champions League, English Premier League and FA Cup) in 2023.
The team will cross to Mark Pougatch in Manchester for all the updates there, while Semra Hunter also joins from Barcelona as they face top eight side Atalanta, who will be looking to hold onto their lucrative finals place and not have to advance to the knockouts with a loss.

SIX NATIONS
FRANCE V WALES
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1
LIVE & EXCLUSIVE ON STAN SPORT FROM 7:05AM AEDT
France are short-priced favourites for the Six Nations opener in Paris against a Wales team on a record 12 game losing run that failed to win a single match last year.
Coach Warren Gatland kept his job despite that horror season, and is urging his players to harness a “siege mentality” for the tournament.
SCOTLAND V ITALY
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2
LIVE & EXCLUSIVE ON STAN SPORT FROM 1:05AM AEDT
A rampaging Scotland on paper should be too strong for Italy in Edinburgh despite being without Melbourne-raised captain Sione Tuipulotu, who has a pectoral injury.
Rory Darge and Finn Russell will instead co-captain Scotland, who outclassed the Wallabies at home in November to prevent them winning the vaunted ‘Grand Slam’ during the Spring Tour.
IRELAND V ENGLAND
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 2
LIVE & EXCLUSIVE ON STAN SPORT FROM 3:35AM AEDT
Tom and Ben Curry will become the first twin brothers to play for England in the team’s Six Nations opener against two-time defending champions Ireland in Dublin, with the Irish firming as favourites again to take out the Six Nations in 2025.
The 26-year-olds, who both play for Sale, will fill the flanker positions either side of No.8 Ben Earl.
