Seven West Media and SCA secure media partnership for World Police and Fire Games – World Police and Fire Games 2027 has appointed Seven West Media and Southern Cross Austereo as official media partners for the Perth event.

The appointment follows a joint bid submitted through The Brand Agency. It marks the first major partnership secured by the newly merged media business.

World Police and Fire Games set for Perth

The international multisport event will be held in Perth over 10 days in March 2027. It will bring together law enforcement and emergency services personnel from across the world.

Organisers expect about 8,500 competitors from more than 70 countries. Athletes will take part across more than 60 sports, with more than 20,000 visitors expected to travel to Western Australia.

The event is designed for police, fire, customs and corrections workers, as well as emergency services personnel. It combines elite and community-level competition with a large-scale celebration of service.

Integrated media partnership

The partnership will use Seven West Media and SCA assets across television, audio, digital and publishing to promote the Games across Western Australia.

The combined campaign will support awareness, ticketing and community engagement ahead of the 2027 event. It will also showcase Perth and Western Australia to local, interstate and international audiences.

Seven West Media Chief Sales Officer Brent Stewart said the event celebrates the courage and dedication of people who serve their communities every day.

Southern Cross Austereo Head of Agency Sales Perth Emma Fry said the combined business has unrivalled reach across Western Australia and is proud to support the event.

The 2027 Games will be held in Perth, Western Australia from 12 to 21 March 2027.
