The Agenda Setters Rugby League on Channel 7 Sam Burgess to coach England in Rugby League World Cup? –
Tom Trbojevic out for 6-8 weeks suffering hamstring injury
CP: Superstar fullback Tom Trbojevic is out for an extended periods of time.
DR: 6-8 weeks he’s out for, after that significant hamstring injury for Turbo. It’s a monumental blow. You don’t have to be a Manly fan to be watching this and get a sick feeling in your stomach when the #1 goes down clutching his hamstring with this injury. Toluta’u Koula will now move to that fullback position.
13 Broncos players out this week with injury
CP: “The Broncos, 21 – 20 against the Tigers, but it has come at a huge cost. 13 players unavailable for this weekend’s game up against the Bulldogs.”
LK: “Are we looking into the future in thinking that Xavier Willison will step up? 45 tackles, 150 meters. He was unbelievable.
CP: 13 players out for the next four games, last year when Willison was asked to step up for Payne Haas, he did so very well and again on the weekend in the absence of Pat Carrigan. He certainly will be there long term.
Sam Burgess to coach England in Rugby League World Cup?
LK: I can’t wait for it (the World Cup) honestly. I think this will be the most even World Cup we’ve had. Some of these Pacific countries. Looking at the New Zealan spine at the moment; Huges, Brown, Ponga, Kini, Marshall-King, Crossland, Fisher-Harris.
AW: Samoa and Tonga also have their best chance to get out there and win the World Cup.
LK: England will be ready, there are a few young guys coming from there…
DR: England are in the process of appointing their new head coach. Both Sam Burgess and Brad Arthurs names have come up.
