Kayo Upfront 2027: Kayo Sports sets course for Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup – Kayo Sports has extended its agreement with the America’s Cup Partnership, securing Australian coverage of every race from the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup.
The announcement gives Australian sports fans a clear local home for one of the biggest international sailing events of 2027. It also adds another major rights pillar to Kayo’s expanding sports slate, which TV Central tracks in our Kayo Sport coverage.
The deal covers the Preliminary Regattas, the Louis Vuitton Cup Challenger Selection Series 2027, the America’s Cup Match 2027, the Women’s America’s Cup and the Youth America’s Cup, with live coverage on Kayo Sports and Foxtel.
Highlights and selected live coverage will also be available through Kayo Freebies and BINGE, giving the competition a wider Australian reach.
The 2026-2027 Road to Naples began with the Preliminary Regatta Sardinia from May 22 to 25, 2026. The action continues in Naples from September 24 to 27, before the Challenger Selection Series in May and June 2027 and the America’s Cup Match in July 2027.
Team Australia will return to the competition for the first time in almost three decades. Tom Slingsby, Glenn Ashby and Grant Simmer will lead the Australian challenge against current defender Emirates Team New Zealand.
Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany said the agreement reinforced Kayo Sports’ commitment to world-class sailing and to connecting Australian fans with major international sport.
The America’s Cup was founded in 1851 and remains the oldest continually contested trophy in international sport. More information on watching sport is available at Kayo Sports.
