Australia and Brazil have met nine times in senior men’s internationals. Brazil have won seven of those matches, while one ended in a draw and the Socceroos recorded one victory.
That Australian win came at the 2001 FIFA Confederations Cup, when the Socceroos defeated Brazil 1-0 in the third-place play-off. The nations most recently met at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in June 2017.
