Nikita Tszyu ready to light it up against Oscar Diaz in his return to Tszyucastle on Kayo – Nikita Tszyu (11 wins / 0 losses) will return to “Tszyucastle” tomorrow night to make his highly anticipated return to the ring against undefeated Spaniard Oscar Diaz (16 wins / 0 losses) in a mid-week Main Event Pay-Per-View extravaganza.
Main Event via Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel is the only place you can catch all the action of this must-see night of fights with live and exclusive coverage of the main card from 7pm AEST.
Tszyu will be out to make a statement against Diaz following his controversial no-contest against Michael Zerafa in January.
The 28-year-old looked devastating that night against Zerafa before chaos reigned, causing a premature stoppage of the fight.
“The Butcher” declared today he has moved on, vowing to put on a show against his undefeated Spanish opponent.
“It was a crazy night back in January, but I’ve moved on and now I’m ready to take on Diaz and anyone else they put in my path”
– Tszyu said.
“Diaz is an undefeated fighter who is coming all the way over here to knock me out.
“I know the challenge that’s in front of me but that’s what excites me the most.
The opportunity to get back in the ring and inflict pain and damage. I’m hungry and I want to put on a show in front of my fans in Tszyucastle”. Tszyu said.
Joining Tszyu on the card will be emerging superstar Callum Peters (6 wins / 0 losses), who will be out to keep his undefeated streak alive against Joeshon James (10 wins / 1 loss).
Peters is in devastating form but looks certain to face his toughest test to date against James, a hard-hitting opponent from the US with only one loss to his name.
“This is a big step up in class for me but I’m confident I’ve put in the work to get a result against James on Wednesday night”
– Peters said.
“My goal is to keep improving and take the steps that can get me a world title shot.
“That journey continues tomorrow night, and I can’t wait for that bell to ring for Round number one”
– Peters said.
Fresh from the huge announcement on Sunday that Tim Tszyu will fight Errol Spence on July 26 in Australia, No Limit CEO George Rose declared that 2026 is shaping up as one of the biggest years in Australian boxing history.
“It’s great to see boxing dominate mainstream media again”
– Rose said.
“First, it was the Tszyu v Spence fight and here we are, three days later in ‘Tszuycastle’ for another must-see Pay-Per-View event.
“Nikita Tszyu is box-office gold and I know how long he has waited for this night to finally come around.
“Then we have the next big thing in Australian boxing, Callum Peters, back in the ring for a tough fight against a hard-hitting US opponent in James.
“There will be action all night and I encourage everyone to get to Main Event and Kayo SPORTS and buy the fight now for what is certain to be another must-see night of all-out Australian boxing”.
– Rose said.
Nikita Tszyu v Oscar Diaz on Wednesday, May 6 will be live and exclusive on Main Event via Kayo SPORTS and Foxtel.
