NBA Summer League Heats Up With Hoops Marathon Live Across ESPN – The Las Vegas NBA Summer League tips off Friday, 10 July, live on ESPN and ESPN2.
Every NBA franchise will hit the court during a packed showcase of emerging basketball talent. ESPN will deliver a marathon of live action, with at least four games scheduled each day.
Opening Day Brings Rookie Spotlight
The opening day will feature one of the biggest early storylines of the tournament.
Washington Wizards face Utah Jazz at 11am AEST on Friday, live on ESPN. The game will give fans their first look at the top two selections in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Washington selected AJ Dybantsa with the number one pick. Meanwhile, Utah chose Darryn Peterson with the second overall selection.
As a result, the two rookies will begin their professional NBA journeys on the same court. It also gives fans an early look at a potential new rivalry.
Australian Players Chase Their NBA Moment
There will also be strong local interest across the tournament.
Anthony Dell’Orso will suit up for Sacramento, while Oscar Cluff will feature for Houston. In addition, Max MacKinnon joins Charlotte, and Harry Wessels will be in action for San Antonio.
NBL Most Improved Player Flynn Cameron will also take the court for the Portland Trail Blazers.
Several former NBL players are also expected to feature. Karim Lopez joins Memphis, while Lachlan Olbrich will represent Golden State.
Lee Hyun-jung will suit up for San Antonio. Also, Luke Travers and Malique Lewis are expected to feature for Milwaukee.
