Seven News was #4 for the night with a reach audience loss of 672 000 and an average audience loss of 325 000 over 9News. The Voice – Sunday was #5 with 1 948 000 (881 000). 7NEWS Spotlight was #9 with 1 082 000 (452 000). 24 Hours in Police Custody was #33 with 428 000 (187 000). A repeat of Crime Investigation Australia: Most Infamous was #54 with 288 000 (119 000).

  • The 9Network claimed Australia’s top 3 programs on Sunday with the key demographics of People 25-54 and People 16-39, as The Block, 9News Sunday and NRL Live Finals Series Bulldogs v Panthers took out the top spots. 
  • The Block was the No. 1 entertainment program on Sunday with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in all five metro markets. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.804 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.597 million – up 29.2% year-on-year (716,000 viewers ahead of its nearest competitor) and a BVOD Audience of 317,000 – up 66.0% year-on-year.
  • 9News Sunday was the No. 1 program with Total People and GS18+ across Australia. It was also the No. 1 program and No. 1 news bulletin with Total People in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.867 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.676 million, up 45.7% on the same night last year. It registered a BVOD Audience of 241,000 (up a massive 167.8% year-on-year).
  • NRL Live Finals Series Bulldogs v Panthers dominated its timeslot with Total People and all key demos across Australia and in Sydney and Brisbane. It recorded a National Total TV Reach of 2.295 million, a Total TV National Audience of 1.174 million (up 42.6% year-on-year) and a BVOD Audience of 243,000 (up 107.7% year-on-year).
  • 60 Minutes secured the later evening audience with Total People and all key demos across Australia. It achieved a National Total TV Reach of 1.767 million and a Total TV National Audience of 714,000 (up 14.8% year-on-year). On 9Now, it secured a BVOD Audience of 109,000 (up 62.7% year-on-year).
  • World Athletics Championships Tokyo 2025 recorded a National Total TV Reach of 896,000, a Total TV National Audience of 441,000 and a BVOD Audience of 59,000.
  • Weekend Today registered a Total TV Reach Audience of 741,000, a Total TV National Audience of 235,000 and a BVOD Audience of 40,000 (up 60.0% year-on-year).
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Sunday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No.1 CFTA BVOD platform on Sunday across Australia recording shares in excess of 50% with Total People and all key demographics.

Season to-date: Reaching 4.06 million total national viewers. 7-Day Total Viewing Audience (Sunday, 14 August): Reached 1.33 million total national viewers.   10: Last night, 10 streaming was up 32% vs. the same night last year.   Week 38: The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition: Biggest total audience since 2021. Total audience up 18% year-on-year. Biggest ever streaming audience. Streaming up 71% year-on-year. 10 Streaming: 5 of the top 10 on-demand shows. Three of the biggest weeks of viewing of the year.
