Seven News was #3 for the night with a reach audience loss of 78 000 and an average audience loss of 43 000 over 9News. Home and Away was #8 with 1 281 000 (833 000). My Kitchen Rules was #5 with 1 725 000 (882 000). The Front Bar was #12 with 1 134 000 (553 000). Unfiltered was #24 with 544 000 (276 000). A repeat of Why Ships Crash was #61 with 263 000 (97 000).

The Chase UK – 427 000 (206 000)

Sunrise – Early – 513 000 (252 000)

Nine

9News was #1 for the night. A Current Affair was #4 with 1 786 000 (1 142 000). The Block was #2 with 2 060 000 (1 217 000). Clarkson’s Farm was #7 with 1 291 000 (499 000). The Grand Tour aired in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and was #46 with 307 000 (119 000). Freddy and the Eighth aired in Sydney and Brisbane was #66 with 248 000 (82 000). 9News Late was #76 with 219 000 (138 000). A repeat of Damian Lewis: Spy Wars was #91 with 184 000 (87 000).

Tipping Point UK – 546 000 (309 000)

10 News+ was #30 for the night. Deal or No Deal was #29 with 456 000 (266 000). Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia was #22 with 569 000 (249 000). Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service was #33 with 415 000 (173 000). The final ever episode of FBI: International was #65 with 251 000 (105 000). 10’s Late News was #107 with 149 000 (91 000). An encore of 10 News+ was #108 with 149 000 (50 000).

ABC News was #11 for the night. 730 was #9 with 1 276 000 (800 000). Hard Quiz was #13 with 960 000 (675 000). Shaun Micallef’s Eve of Destruction was #15 with 800 000 (472 000). Would I Lie to You was #25 with 520 000 (324 000). An encore of Austin was #45 with 311 000 (139 000). ABC Late News was #78 with 216 000 (56 000).

  • The Block was Australia’s No. 1 program with People 25-54 and 16-39. It was also a dominant timeslot winner across Australia and in all five metro capitals with Total People. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 2.060 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.217 million – up 16.5% year-on-year. It recorded a BVOD Audience of 264,000 – up 71.4% year-on-year.
  • 9News was Australia’s No. 1 program with Total People on Wednesday, winning the 5 City Metro, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The combined bulletins achieved a National Total TV Reach of 2.130 million and a Total TV National Audience of 1.380 million – up 20.8% year-on-year. On 9Now, its BVOD audience of 176,000 was up 83.3% on the same night last year.
  • A Current Affair dominated the 7.00pm timeslot across Australia with all key demos and Total People, winning the 5 City Metro, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. It secured a National Total TV Reach of 1.786 million and an impressive Total TV National Audience of 1.142 million. On 9Now, it recorded a BVOD Audience of 146,000 – up 71.8% on the same night last year.
  • Tipping Point Australia was the No. 1 afternoon game show across Australia with Total People and all key demos. It registered a National Total TV Reach of 1.501 million, a Total TV National Audience of 803,000 (up 29.9% year-on-year) and a BVOD audience of 99,000 – up a massive 106.3% year-on-year.
  • Today was the breakfast program of choice with Total People in Melbourne and Brisbane on Wednesday. It recorded a Total TV National Reach of 756,000, a Total TV National Audience of 315,000 and a BVOD audience of 50,000 – up 47.1% on the same morning last year.
  • The 9Network was the No.1 network on Wednesday across the 5 City Metro with Total People and all key demographics.
  • 9Now was the No. 1 CFTA BVOD platform on Wednesday across Australia with People 16-39.

Seven’s winning Wednesday night, 7plus #1 in BVOD

  • National total TV audience share, 6.00pm to midnight: 43.0%
  • National total TV audience share, 6.00am to midnight: 41.6%
