Seven says Irwin is ready to take centre stage after receiving a few tips, tricks and words of advice from comedy legend and former Logie Awards presenter Mick Molloy.
Irwin has built a major profile through his lifelong commitment to wildlife conservation, his international television appearances and his recent win on the US season of Dancing with the Stars.
Trading his signature khakis for a tuxedo, Irwin will lead the ceremony as the Australian television industry celebrates its biggest programs and stars.
A Milestone Logies Night
The 66th TV WEEK Logie Awards will also celebrate 70 years of Australian television, recognising seven decades of programs, performers and stories that have shaped local viewing.
The ceremony will air live on Seven and 7plus from 7.00pm Sunday, 16 August.
