Global platform partnership strengthens this year’s Australian Children’s Content Summit’s creator economy agenda – This year’s Australian Children’s Content Summit’s creator economy agenda is being strengthened by an exciting partnership with global platform YouTube.

Joining Australia’s only dedicated summit for children’s and family screen content as a Major Partner for the first time, YouTube’s partnership this year highlights the growing role of family friendly digital creators, online platforms and new audience pathways across the sector.

The expanded focus this year will bring some of the world’s leading family friendly digital content creators to the Summit at Pacific Bay Resort, Coffs Harbour from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August 2026, connecting them with producers, studios, broadcasters and global platforms to unlock new collaborations and build globally scalable children’s brands and long-term IP value.

YouTube Creator Partnerships & YouTube Kids Creators ANZ Head Sabine Zonderland and Farhad Meher-Homji, Founder of creator economy advisory firm Changer, will lead discussions on digital creator monetisation.

Sesame Workshop Director of Child Engagement Vera Verba will join Bounce Patrol Creator & Executive Producer Shannon Jones and Lah-Lah Productions Creator & Executive Producer Tina Harris for a session on YouTube Collaborations: Building Global Kids Channels.

YouTube Creator Partnerships & YouTube Kids Creators ANZ Head Sabine Zonderland said,

“We are delighted to return to the Australian Children’s Content Summit in Coffs Harbour this year as a Major Partner.  Supporting local creators and storytelling remains at the heart of what we do at YouTube, and we can’t wait to connect with our partners to further elevate the work of our local talent.”

SLR Productions CEO and Australian Children’s Content Summit Founder Suzanne Ryan said,

“The children’s and family content landscape is evolving rapidly as the creator economy unlocks powerful new ways for stories, characters and brands to reach global audiences.  Bringing digital creators together with producers, studios and platforms, the Australian Children’s Content Summit is creating a marketplace where the next generation of globally scalable children’s and family IP can be built, monetised and owned.”

Back for its fourth year to continue shaping the stories of tomorrow, the Australian Children’s Content Summit promises four days of connection, creation and collaboration.

Again Presented by SLR Productions, this year’s summit sees Australian Children’s Television Foundation return as Principal Partner and both Screen Australia and Screen NSW back as Major Government Partners.

Since launching in 2023, the Australian Children’s Content Summit has attracted more than 260 delegates from 12 countries annually, including senior executives from  ABC, NITV, BBC, BBC Studios, CBC, PBS Kids, Apple TV+, Disney, Netflix, Sony, Paramount, ITV, Amazon Kids+ Originals, Warner Bros Discovery Kids, YouTube, Nine Network, Hello Sunshine, Sinking Ship Entertainment, Wildbrain and many more.  It has generated development partnerships, project commissions, international collaborations, career pathways and strategic business relationships, firmly establishing the Australian Children’s Content Summit as Australia’s leading marketplace for children’s and family content.

Once again hosted by Dr. Emma Watkins, known for her ARIA award-winning musical children’s show ‘Emma Memma’ this year’s summit is shaping up to be the most exciting one yet, with inspiring speakers, engaging sessions, incredible pitching opportunities, key workshops, curated matchmaking, ice-breaker events, unparalleled networking connections and outdoor experiences – all set in Australia’s stunning NSW coastal backdrop.

Building on its success, this year’s summit offers delegates exceptional access to leading content professionals, including producers, creators, writers, directors, buyers, distributors, investors, screen agencies, policymakers and industry influencers.

The summit has firmly established itself as Australia’s premier platform for the children’s and family content industry to network, collaborate, share insights and build significant business relationships.  The Australian Children’s Content Summit remains the only dedicated event of its kind in the country, proudly celebrating the power and potential of stories for local and international audiences.
