Australian Children’s Content Summit returns to shape the stories of tomorrow – Australia’s only dedicated marketplace and summit for children’s and family screen content, the Australian Children’s Content Summit is back for its fourth year to continue shaping the stories of tomorrow.

Returning to New South Wales’ Coffs Coast from Monday 24 August to Thursday 27 August 2026, the Australian Children’s Content Summit promises four days of connection, creation and collaboration at Pacific Bay Resort, Coffs Harbour.

Further strengthening the Summit’s global reach, international featured guests including Mediacorp’s Assistant Lead Strategic Partnerships & Kids Barry Toa, ITV Content Acquisitions Manager: Kids, Film and Partnerships Tyler Martin, Tiger Aspect Kids & Family Managing Director Tom Beattie, and Kids YouTube & Streaming Specialist/Author, Kids StreamerSphere Emily Horgan have already confirmed to attend.

ABC Head Children and Family Melinda Wearne will feature among an impressive line-up of local Australian guests including key representatives from ABC, Australian Children’s Television Foundation, Nine, NITV, Screen Australia, state screen agencies and more.

Again Presented by SLR Productions, this year’s summit sees Australian Children’s Television Foundation return as Principal Partner and both Screen Australia and Screen NSW back as Major Government Partners.

Continuing their strong support of the Australian Children’s Content Summit’s growth and industry impact, Flying Bark Productions, ABC, Simpsons and Screenwest will return this year as Gold Partners.

SLR Productions CEO and Australian Children’s Content Summit Founder Suzanne Ryan said, “Children’s and family content is one of Australia’s most powerful creative assets.  The Australian Children’s Content Summit brings together the full ecosystem, from emerging voices to global leaders, in one highly connected marketplace.  As we enter our fourth year, we are proud of the strength of our partners, the ambition of our delegates, and the meaningful collaborations continuing to grow from the Summit.”

Australian Children’s Television Foundation CEO Jenny Buckland said, “The Australian Children’s Television Foundation is proud to support the Australian Children’s Content Summit again.  Why?  Because rapid change is reshaping our industry, and none of us can navigate change in a vacuum.  No matter who you are, if you’re interested in kids’ screen content on any platform, there is something new to learn and someone new to meet at the Summit.”

ABC Director Screen Jennifer Collins said,

“The ABC is committed to delivering a world‑class children’s slate that entertains, informs and inspires young audiences and families.  The Australian Children’s Content Summit is an invaluable opportunity for creators, producers and screen agencies to come together and ensure Australian stories continue to thrive on our screens, at home and globally.”

Screen Australia Director of Narrative Content Louise Gough said,

“Our local children’s content continues to set an international benchmark for creativity, shaping content that inspires, challenges and delights young viewers and their families everywhere. Initiatives such as Screen Australia and Australian Children’s Television Foundation’s digital-focused Kids IP Incubator often arise from the collaboration and inspiration created at events like the Australian Children’s Content Summit.  The event plays a vital role in our screen ecosystem.”

Since launching in 2023, the Australian Children’s Content Summit has attracted more than 260 delegates from 12 countries annually, including senior executives from  ABC, NITV, BBC, BBC Studios, CBC, PBS Kids, Apple TV+, Disney, Netflix, Sony, Paramount, ITV, Amazon Kids+ Originals, Warner Bros Discovery Kids, YouTube, Nine Network, Hello Sunshine, Sinking Ship Entertainment, Wildbrain and many more.

It has generated development partnerships, project commissions, international collaborations, career pathways and strategic business relationships, firmly establishing the Australian Children’s Content Summit as Australia’s leading marketplace for children’s and family content.

Once again hosted by Dr. Emma Watkins, known for her ARIA award-winning musical children’s show ‘Emma Memma’ this year’s summit is shaping up to be the most exciting one yet, with inspiring speakers, engaging sessions, incredible pitching opportunities, key workshops, curated matchmaking, ice-breaker events, unparalleled networking connections and outdoor experiences – all set in Australia’s stunning NSW coastal backdrop.

Building on its success, this year’s summit offers delegates exceptional access to leading content professionals, including producers, creators, writers, directors, buyers, distributors, investors, screen agencies, policymakers and industry influencers.

The summit has firmly established itself as Australia’s premier platform for the children’s and family content industry to network, collaborate, share insights and build significant business relationships.  The Australian Children’s Content Summit remains the only dedicated event of its kind in the country, proudly celebrating the power and potential of stories for local and international audiences.

About Australian Children’s Content Summit

Launched in 2023, the Australian Children’s Content Summit (ACCS) is the vision of SLR Productions’ CEO and Executive Producer, Suzanne Ryan. Held annually at Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, the Summit has quickly established itself as Australia’s only dedicated marketplace for children’s and family content.

Each year ACCS brings together domestic and international producers, writers, directors, digital creators, broadcasters, streamers, distributors, investors and policymakers to connect, collaborate and develop new opportunities.

Through curated meetings, pitching initiatives and industry discussions, the Summit supports partnerships, project development and international collaboration while strengthening Australia’s children’s screen sector and connecting local creators with global opportunity.
