Big Brother moves into a new Brisbane home this October – Big Brother is preparing to open the doors to a new Queensland house, with Network 10 confirming the reality format will return this October.
The broadcaster says the show’s familiar voice will be back on screen and “inside your heads”, inviting a new group of Australians to move in, speak their minds and bring the chaos.
The shift to a new Brisbane base gives the long-running social experiment a fresh setting while keeping its central appeal intact: a house full of strangers, close surveillance and the unpredictable alliances that follow. For 10, it also sets up an October reality event with an established brand that can play across broadcast and streaming.
Big Brother’s housewarming plans
Network 10 is framing the new season as a housewarming party with a difference. The programme’s promotional tease promises a new roof, a new batch of housemates and plenty of opportunity for outspoken personalities to make an impression.
Big Brother has remained one of Australian television’s most recognisable reality formats, built on the tension between everyday house life and the all-seeing presence of its unseen host. The new Brisbane digs will put that dynamic in a fresh environment when the show returns.
Big Brother returns this October on Channel 10 and 10.
