ATEEZ : LIGHT THE WAY IN CINEMAS Releases Official Trailer Ahead of Global Cinema Event – Tickets are on sale now for ATEEZ : LIGHT THE WAY IN CINEMAS, with the official trailer also released ahead of the worldwide cinema event.
The immersive ATEEZ experience comes to cinemas on Thursday, August 6 and Saturday, August 8. The event brings the boundary-pushing K-pop group back to the big screen after the success of ATEEZ WORLD TOUR [TOWARDS THE LIGHT : WILL TO POWER] IN CINEMAS.
This new cinema release reimagines AMAZE’s immersive VR experience for traditional large-format cinemas. The VR version toured select cities across 2025 and 2026. Now, fans can experience the production in a premium big-screen format.
Shot natively in 8K resolution, the cinema version features multi-camera coverage and 5.1 surround sound. As a result, audiences can expect a high-impact visual and audio experience designed for the cinema environment.
ATEEZ Returns To The Big Screen
ATEEZ : LIGHT THE WAY IN CINEMAS features powerful live tracking of the group’s global hits. The set includes INCEPTION, BOUNCY (K-HOT CHILLI PEPPERS) and Ice On My Teeth.
The cinema event also includes 20 minutes of exclusive, never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage. This bonus content will only be available in theatres. In addition, selected local exhibitors will offer exclusive photocard fan gifts, subject to availability.
The event stars ATEEZ members HONGJOONG, SEONGHWA, YUNHO, YEOSANG, SAN, MINGI, WOOYOUNG and JONGHO.
Trafalgar Releasing presents the event in partnership with VR concert company AMAZE and KQ Entertainment.
Global Cinema Release Details
ATEEZ have built a major global following since their debut in October 2018. The group have released six consecutive million-seller albums and achieved multiple entries on the Billboard 200.
Their second studio album, THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL, gave the group their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200. More recently, their 12th EP, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.3, and its title track Lemon Drop continued their international chart success.
ATEEZ also made history as the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They also became the first K-pop artist to headline Morocco’s MAWAZINE Festival.
Screenings in Korea will begin on Wednesday, August 19, with tickets on sale from Wednesday, August 5. The Japan release date will be announced at a later date.
