The premiere uses Louis’s later interview to frame the beginnings of a relationship that changes his life in ways he could not yet understand.

Season 1 episode 1

Louis, played by Jacob Anderson, is managing his family fortune when he encounters Lestat, played by Sam Reid. Their meeting pulls him into an otherworldly existence.

One hundred and ten years later, Louis tells his story to journalist Daniel Molloy, played by Eric Bogosian. The present-day conversation gives the drama a second viewpoint on those earlier events.
