Tonight | Beyond Paradise on ABC: the Cornman strikes a Devon farm – Beyond Paradise turns a local legend into a real threat tonight. A masked figure attacks a farm, and Humphrey must expose the culprit before the farm is destroyed. The episode airs at 7.30pm on ABC and ABC iview.

The Death in Paradise spin-off is in the second half of its third season, with only one episode left after tonight.

A harvest ritual turns dark

As the harvest ends, Stella and George Ellis follow their long-held tradition of hanging a corn doll. However, the doll mysteriously falls, and a figure dressed as the mythical Cornman strikes.

With their milk ruined and their hay set ablaze, the Ellises are pushed to the brink.

Too many suspects

The team soon discover there is no shortage of people with a grievance against George. They include disgruntled ex-farmhands, wind farm developers and ambitious land agents.

Yet George has only one direction in mind: neighbouring farmers Michaela and Lotty Robson. There is a catch, though. Humphrey and Esther were with the Robsons on the night of the second sabotage.

Don’t miss Beyond Paradise, Saturday 31 October at 7.30pm on ABC and streaming on ABC iview.
