Better Homes and Gardens airs tonight on Channel 7, 7two and 7plus, with Johanna Griggs heading to Coober Pedy to meet an outback mailman whose route stretches across 600 kilometres.
The Saturday episode gives Better Homes and Gardens on Channel 7 a strong travel and lifestyle focus, moving from one of Australia’s most distinctive towns to a backyard greenhouse reveal, new-release plants and a crowd-friendly Colin Fassnidge recipe.
Johanna meets Bruce Ross, a postie based in the opal capital of the world. Coober Pedy is known for its desert landscapes, underground homes, heat and opals, and Bruce’s mail run offers a look at daily life far beyond a regular city route.
What Happens On Better Homes And Gardens Tonight
Adam Dovile and Colin Fassnidge continue the rustic greenhouse build that began on Friday night. With the frame already up, the next stage adds recycled doors and windows, roofing, cladding and work benches before the final reveal.
Colin also gets back in the kitchen with a flat sausage roll designed for feeding a crowd. The recipe gives sausage rolls an Asian twist, using pork mince, prawns, ginger, fish sauce, chilli and limes, with the flatter shape creating a different balance of filling and pastry.
Charlie Albone shares new-release plants from the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, including a native shrub recognised as Plant of the Year.
