Ratings | Did the CSI franchise make a dent for 7flix? – In a surprise move, Channel 7 have licensed some Paramount titles including Judge Judy and the entire CSI franchise.

Fans of the CSI universe would have been excited to see 7flix running CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York and CSI: Cyber back to back on Tuesday night for a complete night of crime drama with Judge Judy spearheading the line-up from 7.00pm.

Seven would have bought the CSI franchise mainly to compliment their 7plus content range, but would have been hoping for a lift in audience for 7flix.

7flix has been a complex channel for Seven over the years with no real identity. At the moment it plays the Law & Order series, CSI, Gordon Ramsay shows, First Dates UK and movies. There is no new content at all attached to the channel and doesn’t have the brand recognition and identity that 7mate and 7two have.
