Better Homes and Gardens was #5 with 171 000, a rise of 5%. An encore of Taskmaster Australia was #7 with 149 000, an upswing of 67%. The Sydney WorldPride Opening Concert was #10 with 120 000, a lift of 30%. The Graham Norton Show was #11 with 116 000, an increase of 16%. For the Love of Pets was #18 with 89 000, a boost of 11%.

Seven

Seven News was #1 with wins in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Seven News at 6:30 was #2 with wins in the same markets. Better Homes and Gardens was #11 with 330 000 viewers and sat 69 000 viewers behind Gardening Australia. The movie, Hacksaw Ridge had 155 000 viewers. The late movie, Point of No Return was watched by 39 000.

Nine

Nine News was #3 with wins in Sydney and Brisbane. Nine News 6:30 was #4 with wins in the same two markets. A Current Affair was #10 with 363 000. The show was screened on 9Gem in Brisbane due to NRL on the main channel, which is a welcome addition for viewers in Brisbane, whom in past years had the show completely dropped in that market. Friday Night NRL was watched by a total audience of 389 000, which includes those watching on 9Gem in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Golden Point was watched by 203 000. The special, All the Way – Panthers Title Defence was screened only in Sydney and Brisbane and received 48 000 viewers.

The Project 6:30 had 123 000 viewers. The Project 7pm was #23 with 175 000. The Graham Norton Show aired its final ‘normal’ show for this season at #20 with 191 000. The program will air two compilation episodes over the next two weeks. An encore of Taskmaster Australia was watched by 115 000. An encore of Would I Lie to You? Australia was watched by 75 000. A repeat of Just for Laughs Australia was watched by 49 000. A repeat of Just for Laughs Uncut had an audience of 34 000.

ABC

ABC News was #5 overall, but #1 in its slot. Gardening Australia was #7 and beat Better Homes and Gardens in all markets. Endeavour began its final season on ABC, was #6 overall, the #1 non news show in primetime and had 418 000 viewers. A repeat of Van Der Valk aired at 10pm to 152 000.

Second: 7flix (3.4%)

7two was the #1 multi channel thanks to Bargain Hunt (66 000), Border Security USA (61 000) Border Patrol (70 000), Escape to the Country – new (75 000) and Escape to the Country – repeat (71 000).

7flix was the #2 multi channel thanks to The Jungle Book (37 000) and A Knight’s Tale (51 000) which screened in all markets except Perth. Holmes and Watson screened in Perth.
