TOTAL TV
Seven News Saturday was #1 overall in the latest Total TV report, increasing its audience by 3% to 1, 021 000. A repeat of Border Security: Australia’s Front Line was up 4% to 581 000 viewers. The movie, The Greatest Showman rose 3% to 366 000 (aired on 7mate in Perth due to Telethon), whilst Con Air was up 5% to 279 000.
Nine News Saturday was best for Nine with 890 000 viewers, up 3%. The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 match between Australia and NZ was on 698 000, up 4%.
10 had crime dramas with all new episodes – Blue Bloods was up 21% to 233 000 with CSI: Vegas up 26% to 224 000. Earlier in the night, a repeat of The Dog House UK had 215 000 viewers, up 8%.
ABC had another strong Saturday with ABC News up 4% to 783 000, landing as the #3 show of the night. A repeat of Death in Paradise had 482 000, up 11% and The Capture had the biggest uptick in the Top 30 rankings with an increase of 45% to an audience of 450 000.

Analysis
Seven News was again #1 overall at 692 000 viewers with a clean sweep in all five main capital city markets. A repeat of Border Security: Australia’s Front Line had 347 000 and was #2 in its slot behind ACA on Nine. Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the the #1 movie choice at 211 000. The late movie, Monster Hunter had 85 000 viewers.
Nine News was on 518 000 and lost fairly substantially in all markets last night. A Current Affair won its slot though at 7pm with 384 000 viewers. The movie Kong: Skull Island had 140 000 viewers/ Later in the evening Pacific Rim: Uprising had just 54 000 viewers watching.
10 returned to its crime night Saturday, this week with 144 000 for Blue Bloods, which was up on the 122 000 viewers watching last week. CSI: Vegas had 139 000 viewers, also up on the 111 000 that watched last week. An encore of NCIS had 119 000, up on the 109 000 last week.
A repeat of Death in Paradise had 384 000 viewers and was #3 for the night. The Capture was on 233 000 viewers.
