Channel 7’s The Voice Blind Auditions episode 6 recap – The Voice Blind Auditions continued on Channel 7 and 7plus, with raw emotional performances, a four-chair turn and another secret save from Tones And I.
The episode kept the Blind Auditions focused on personal stories as much as vocal power. Jeramie Heitmann delivered the night’s biggest chair-turn moment, while Cleo Paladino and Findlay Webb also used the stage to turn difficult life chapters into performances.
For Channel 7, the episode also continued the season’s fifth-coach twist, with Tones And I again using her hidden role to rescue an artist who missed out on a chair turn.
Jeramie Heitmann Delivers A Four-Chair Turn
Mount Barker singer Jeramie Heitmann performed Celine Dion’s Because You Loved Me, dedicating the song to her father, husband and two children.
Her father had travelled from the Philippines for the audition, adding another emotional layer to the performance. Kate Miller-Heidke praised Jeramie’s vocal power, while Melanie C said the audition moved her to tears.
Ronan Keating admitted he had not planned to turn for another female vocalist, but said he could not resist. Richard Marx then drew on his own connection to Celine Dion before making his case, and Jeramie ultimately joined Team Richard.
Cleo Paladino Takes On Christina Aguilera
Annandale singer Cleo Paladino stepped onto The Voice stage to perform Christina Aguilera’s The Voice Within.
Cleo said her father’s cardiac arrest in 2024 had pushed her to pursue her dream and reminded her that life was too short not to take chances.
The performance earned a three-chair turn. Kate called Cleo a naturally gifted singer, while Melanie C praised her for making the song her own. Cleo joined Team Melanie C.
Findlay Webb Turns Vulnerability Into Strength
Bathurst musician Findlay Webb performed Lewis Capaldi’s Survive, drawing on a childhood shaped by a rare congenital heart condition and three open-heart surgeries.
Findlay said feeling isolated from sport and other childhood activities led him toward music. His performance earned chair turns from Melanie C and Ronan.
Ronan praised Findlay’s tone and vulnerability, describing that emotional openness as his superpower. Findlay joined Team Ronan.
Cris J Becomes The Latest Tones And I Save
Gold Coast barista and busker Cris J, originally from Chile, performed Duke Dumont’s Ocean Drive.
Although he did not secure a chair turn, Tones And I was drawn to the warmth of his voice and saved him for her secret coaching program. Melanie C also noted the modern quality in his tone.
Cris J joins Red Roy, Jamie Koul, Lilita Keni, Dicko and Georgia Dabbous among the artists saved so far by Tones And I.
The Fifth Coach Twist Continues
This season’s secret fifth-coach twist has Tones And I watching the Blind Auditions from a hidden room, unknown to Melanie C, Ronan Keating, Kate Miller-Heidke and Richard Marx.
Her role allows her to save artists who receive no chair turns but show enough potential to deserve another chance later in the competition.
The Voice continues 7.30pm Tuesday on Channel 7 and 7plus.
