Karōshi trailer and teaser poster: Chad Stahelski-produced action thriller in cinemas February 4 – STUDIOCANAL has released the Australian trailer and teaser poster for Karōshi, an action thriller produced by Chad Stahelski, the filmmaker behind the John Wick franchise. The film opens only in Australian cinemas on February 4, 2027.
Takashi Doscher writes and directs the film, which stars Teo Yoo, Isabel May, Takehiro Hira, Bill Camp and Show Kasamatsu, with Giancarlo Esposito and Cynthia Erivo.
The title refers to the Japanese term for death from overwork, and the trailer leans into it with the tagline “Work hard. Die trying.” Karōshi joins a busy STUDIOCANAL slate for Australian cinemas that also includes Idris Elba’s thriller Above the Below, which opens on 3 December.
