What is I Love Boosters about?
The film follows Corvette, Sade and Mariah, professional shoplifters who operate as “boosters”. The term describes people who obtain goods illicitly and resell them at a discount.
Corvette is played by Palmer, while Ackie plays Sade and Paige plays Mariah. Their operation moves from Oakland shopping malls to factories in China, widening the story beyond a single theft or store.
The group targets clothing created by Christie Smith, a powerful and cutthroat fashion designer played by Demi Moore. They then redistribute the pieces at prices that people in their community can afford.
However, Corvette’s relationship with Christie’s work is more complicated than simple opposition. She wants to become an artist like the designer, and that ambition pulls the team into what the release describes as a consciousness-splitting adventure involving new dimensions.

Palmer, Ackie and Paige head an ensemble that also includes Poppy Liu, Eiza González, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle and Demi Moore.

The title refers directly to the crew at the centre of the story. Rather than treating them only as criminals, the premise frames their redistribution scheme as an act aimed at an industry figure whose success has made her an obvious target.
