Tina Arena: Unravel Me trailer revealed ahead of Australian cinema release – Maslow Entertainment has released the official trailer for Tina Arena: Unravel Me before its Australian cinema release on 27 August 2026.
The documentary will have its world premiere at the Melbourne International Film Festival on Wednesday, 12 August, at The Astor Theatre. Tina Arena is scheduled to attend the premiere.
For Australian audiences, the film arrives as Arena marks 50 years in the spotlight. The documentary also adds another major local music story to the 2026 cinema calendar, with a theatrical release following its MIFF debut.
About Tina Arena: Unravel Me
Tina Arena: Unravel Me is described as an intimate and cinematic portrait of one of Australia’s most enduring artists. The film looks at Tina the icon and Tina the woman across five decades of fame.
The documentary features archival footage and new interviews with Arena’s sisters, mentor Johnny Young and former collaborators and peers.
Interviewees include Celine Dion, Ronan Keating, Marc Anthony, Desmond Child and Jessica Mauboy. The film charts Arena’s career and explores new revelations from her life and work.
Creative team
The film is a Helium Pictures production. It is directed by Adrian Russell Wills, written and produced by Jessica Carrera, and executive produced by Mark Fennessy and Tina Arena.
Principal production funding comes from Screen Australia. The documentary was post-produced in New South Wales and financed in association with Screen NSW, Seven Network and The Post Lounge.
