BINGE releases trailer for new original reality series Apocalypse – BINGE has released the official trailer for Apocalypse, its new original reality series narrated by Jonathan LaPaglia and premiering with a double episode on Wednesday 16 September.
The eight-part survival format puts 14 Australians and Britons inside the ruins of an abandoned city, with no power, running water, food or rules, and challenges them to survive together for 28 days.
For BINGE, the commission gives the streamer another local reality title with clear event-TV appeal, while also connecting Foxtel Group’s Australian platform with Channel 4 in the UK and ITV Studios’ international production and distribution pipeline.

What is Apocalypse about?
Apocalypse asks what ordinary people would do when society’s usual structures disappear. The contestants must form a community, find food, negotiate leadership and manage conflict as the experiment tests the distance between cooperation and chaos.
BINGE says the series will explore human behaviour under pressure, as the group faces the question at the centre of the format: could you survive the end of the world?
Foxtel Group Executive Director – Entertainment Daniel Monaghan said the trailer gives audiences their first look at the scale, tension and human drama of the series. ITV Studios Australia Chief Content Officer Beth Hart described the format as a survival experiment built around instinct, resilience and community.
Who is taking part?
The Australian participants are Dean Sganga, 30, a chef; Kelly Cartwright, 37, a Paralympian; Kiera Madison, 30, a psychologist; Matthew Wilson, 34, a diesel mechanic; and Scott McMinn, 41, a cattle farmer.
