The final night of Top 24 week proved fierce as eight contestants conquered notes and nerves to score one of four final places in the Australian Idol Top 12

There were tears, triumph and a shock medical emergency as judges Harry Connick Jr, Amy Shark, Kyle Sandilands and guest judge Marcia Hines determined the Top 24.

The Chorus Line challenge saw hopefuls sing for their lives as the judges instantly decided their fate. 

The final night of Australian Idol auditions were cause for celebration as the all-star judging panel gave out the final tickets to the Top 50.
