RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under on Stan crowns Lazy Susan winner – She’s a winner baby! Aussie queen Lazy Susan has been crowned the next Down Under Drag Race Superstar in the eagerly awaited final episode of the Stan Original Series Drag Race Down Under Season 4, which premiered yesterday on Stan.
The crowning took place live at an intimate finale viewing party at Universal Sydney on Oxford Street hosted by entertainment reporter Justin Hill, with the other finalist queens from the season and more all cheering on the newest member of Drag Race royalty.
Other famous faces in the community were also at the event including Mitch Churi, Kevin in the City and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under alumni such as Hannah Conda, Etcetera Etcetera, Coco Jumbo, Ivory Glaze, Faux Fur, Amyl and Pomara Fifth.
This is the second time an Australian queen has snatched the crown, following last year’s win by Isis Avis Loren (Melbourne). Previous winners Kita Mean (Season 1) and Spankie Jackzon (Season 2) both hail from New Zealand.
Says Lazy Susan:
“I’m humbled and honoured to receive the prestigious down under crown, my reign of terror shall be swift and sweaty, bow to your new lazy overlord. This drag monarchy shall last a thousand years or until I get tired of holding this sceptre. My first order of business is to invite you to the Down Under tour in March with the cast of Season 4. Book now or feel my wrath.”
